Mothers Day weekend

Yes, I'm that far behind in posting! I have very little to excuse me except it's been a busy month and I've been tired. With that out of the way, I want to post a few pictures from Mother's Day weekend, when Mama Sally came to visit us.

Natalie wanted in Mama Sally's bed from the moment I cleared it off, (it had been covered in craft stuff) in preparation for her arrival. She finally got her chance, and got to look at pictures on the iphone! Score!
Also that weekend, Natalie got her own fishing pole and enjoyed teasing Chewy with it.
She couldn't be distracted from her fishing expedition to have her photo taken.
But she was convince to look towards the camera at least once that day.

We're actually heading to Sally's cabin soon, so keep an eye out for more fishing trip shots! I'll post more this week in an effort to catch up.

fairy parade

The annual Boulder Flower Fairy and Elf Parade was the same day as the children's fair on Pearl Street this year. Last year we stumbled on the Fairy Parade by accident, but this time we made a point to be there - with wings! Natalie got special fairy dust, but was too little for one of the wishing stones (aka throat plugs).
She waited very patiently for a balloon from the Daily Camera guy, (she only pushed a little.)
And enjoyed getting a nice close look at the tulips - though this time she didn't fall on her face in them like she did last year.
We stopped for some sushi for lunch and when we came out it was snow/hailing a bit.
Enough Boulder for us. Time to go home. Natalie was asleep before we got out of the parking garage.
