back to the blog.... no, I haven't forgotten you!

It's been a pretty busy season for me, and I think it's about to slow down! Phew. So I thought I'd take a quick minute to fill you all in on what's been going on around here! I'm sorry I've been so negligent, but I want to make it up to you with a few pictures, and then, after the holidays I though be able to get back to regular blogging... in theory!

Eating.
Cruising.
Hanging out in Breckenridge.

Worn out in Breck.
Hungry in Breck.
Georgetown RR on the way back from Breck.

Playing trains with the big boys.
Hanging with Grandma on Jackson's 1st birthday!!
One year olds have all the fun!
Snow day!!

Halloween party apple-bobbing.
Dressing up for her school Halloween party.
"Eating" candy, (Jackson still puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.)
Natalie's preferred pixie stick method.
Finger (and face) painting.
SOOOOO Big!
Thanksgiving break playdate, (since all of Natalie's old playdate friends all have different school schedules we had to arrange this one during the break.) We managed to pass our stomach bug that we thought was gone to every family in this photo!
Tired baby!
First time sledding... she's a pro!
Christmas.
Natalie the fashionista.
Who's that guy again?
Ahhh.... Santa!!
So that's it! Do you feel caught up? I'll get back to you after Christmas.

Photo catch up part 2!

Here are the rest of those pictures as promised! I know a week late, but better late than never, right?!

Here are a few from the county fair... lots of fun for everyone, we even went twice. But it was very hot.

Jackson didn't mind getting his hand traced...
And Natalie did great in the hobby horse stampede, (she named hers Cinco.)
And she won this hat!
She almost got carried away by this weather balloon. I tried it too... it was tough to hold it down!
Natalie also enjoyed her first amusement park rides.
She was really looking forward to the roller coaster, but looked a bit scared after it. We weren't allowed on that one.

Here's a pic from the fire brigade we stumbled upon in Longmont!
And more from "hiking". In quotes because we never made it out of the meadow the kids were too busy catching bugs and looking at stuff under the microscope. And building nests... for whom I have no idea!

A cute one of Jackson who has become an expert crawler now. He can go up the stairs (but not down) as well which is trouble.
Grandpa's birthday.
And Zane's pirate birthday!

Here's my DH with Jackson... aren't they cute! I'm so proud of my husband... he's lost around 40 pounds doing P90X and totally changing his diet to all plant based food. He's an inspiration!
And here we are at Menchie's our new favorite froyo place. Jackson gets his own ever since he ate all of mine the first time we went. He loves his real food and is getting tired of the mush.
Jackson loves to carry things around in his mouth like a dog! He also usually comes when I call him! Too funny. But he's becoming more and more upright as well. Pulling to a standing and even testing his balance with no hands - the little daredevil! He's getting his 6th tooth and chews on everything... including my clothes. When he really wants my attention he comes up to my leg and bites my pants and pulls. Punk.
So that's what's new with us... the next pictures you see will be of our trip to Virginia!

too many pictures!

At the rate I'm posting these days my kids will be in college before you see the pics on my camera! So here are the rest of the batch I took off almost a month ago!!

As far as updates go, we're still not getting a ton of sleep around here - this boy is just too hungry! But Natalie is napping again, and Jackson is on a nap schedule so that is giving me a bit of regular peace and quiet at least, (perhaps to blog?!)

So onto the photo catch up...

Bath time for J-Town...
Posy-Bath for Natertito.
Cuddles, (so this shot was way forced, but lately N interacts a lot more with J... she is beginning to appreciate the extra attention he offers her - he LOVES to watch her now and she likes to make him smile.)
Scott Carpenter Park in Boulder.
This hat will probably be making another appearance in the Summer time.
We are finally getting away from this! Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel...
This is how Natalie smiles now, (and why there are so many fewer pictures of her.)
Shiva Rea.
We haven't gotten much precip this Winter... but just enough to make this snowman... he topped about 18 inches... with the hat.
It was sunny enough to go to the park that day though!
Too Sunny for Jackson to stick his head out of his hole.
Natalie eating the sprinkles off the cookies at the Valentine's Day Party.
This bump is still there a bit!

Sushi... this is one of the last times we ate out with both kids... we are entering a dark period in that regard...

Waiting for me at the dentist's office... playing iPhone games.

Out for a walk... this has become almost a daily occurrence...
Natalie is becoming quite the cyclist!
And Jackson really likes his excersaucer... excellent...
Hanging with his friend Jack... one month younger than him. Now all of the women in playgroup have had their second babies, (all boys but one). Jackson is the oldest.
Lunch at the rec center, (both of these women have since had babies).
And that's it! Phew. I'm afraid to even look at my camera! There will be more to come!
