Birthday Party

The little girl across the street turned two last week and we got invited to the party!  It was acutally a sort of goodbye party as well, as the family is moving this week to Croatia for the husband's work for a year.  We had a great time... a few of Sweetpea's little friends from story time at the library were there and she had a great time too.  

We were sure we'd have to leave early as she'd had very short naps throughout the day, but we ended up getting to stay past 9:00pm, chatting and enjoying delicious Indian food, and a very yummy Panda Bear shaped, (at the birthday girl's request) cake.  

Here is Sanika in her birthday girl finery with her grandpa who is visiting from India to help out with the packing and moving.
