McGuckin Harware - A Boulder Landmark

The next time you're in Boulder and you need something, anything, you should stop in to McGuckin's Hardware.  Even if they don't have what you need, (highly unlikely), you won't get out of there without having at least one good chat with an employee, and more than likely with a customer or two as well.

Sweetpea and I enjoyed some quality time in the dog toy aisle while my DH discussed planting techniques with another customer.  The tennis balls in this bin squeaked to our delight.  And there was another bin conveniently located for a fun ball transfer game.  This managed to provide us with entertainment while DH tried to extract himself from the conversation.

About half an hour later we went and had some keys made.  We made friends with a seal puppet, and a real live dog!  Too much fun.

Heading back to our car it got a bit chilly.  Here's Sweetpea in Daddy's hoodie.  The first time she was wrapped in this hoodie was the day she was born!  It was even bigger on her then.

I love McGuckin's! Definitely something I miss about Boulder, besides all the lovely company that is still there! :)
